I am just spinning in one place, exercising more and eating more means no news. Actually just a little bit of news, my weight is up. Yep. I am up 5 pounds from Christmas to now. I am up 7 pounds from my lowest. I am 177 pounds today. I'm not upset just feel like I need to regroup and concentrate on reaching my goal, I'm getting so close. Just finish it already! I signed up for my fitness pal so I can track my food daily and make some changes to how I'm eating. I've been doing a pretty good job on the exercise front just not tracking food at all and too much snacking. I work out 3-4 times a week. mostly doing stationary bike and weights or the biggest loser workout (cardio). I've already completed two 5k's this year. I took 3 minutes off my time from the first one to the one this last Saturday. My next one is on Feb. 1st. I set some goals for myself recently, and since this is all about accountability I'll post them here too. My hope is that I accomplish these by the end of the year. I am going to attempt 15 events in 2015. I completed 10 of 14 in 2014.
Anyway, here are my goals...(so far)
1. Complete a 5k run in under 30 minutes
2. Complete triathlon in under 2 hours
3. Complete a set of golf lessons (with my friend who has the same goal)
4. Work on my financial goals
5. Road Trip with Dave (husband)
So I will round up some pictures to close out this post and my lame as always promise that I will try to update more often... :) Please note these pictures are just random and ones that I like... welcome to my life! Loves ya!!!

self explanatory... I now workout in the morning.

New Year of course I'm out and about on my stand up paddle board, it was about 5.5 miles this day....

Ugly Sweater contest at a Union meeting, my friend Doug won 1st place... I did not participate in the judged contest (I'm the VP) just for fun...

Amazing trip to Thailand in November- this is me on a little suspension bridge just up the trail from the Elephant Nature Park where we volunteered for a week. Did I mention it was AMAZING!

This is when we visited a school. The kids were so cute and fun to talk to.

kissy kissy Mr. bearded dragon... this was at some touristy place along the way...

sitting with Lek, the founder of the park and two of the elephants, such a magical, meaningful, and unforgettable experience!
Happy New Year! Make it the best!!
Wow! You're doing fantastic. I'm going to set some goals like you did. You look amazing. I'm hoping paddleboard is in my future!
ReplyDeleteGood luck in everything you do!
LOVE that Christmas sweater!! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat goals. Elephants! Wow! I'm so happy that I went through with my VSG. You are so inspirational. I'm back to cycling and Pilates. I not sure that I will ever run again. I'm getting too old. It's nice to hear from you.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to my weight class! Actually, I could weigh more but as I am not weighing this year...I don't know! haha. But you look smaller than me! I ran a 5k under 30 mintues a couple of years ago. It was awesome and I felt super fast. Whenever I am sluggin along on my runs now thinking "i can't go any faster"...I remember I actually CAN if I really try!
ReplyDeleteYou look great....what ever you are doing.....IS GREAT!
ReplyDeleteXO
I've been eating more and exercising more, too... leading to gains here as well. Hate that, but we'll get back to losing. :)
