hmm. I look kind of normal
but under the shirt is a different story... the incisions are pretty much the same and very close to where they were before, you can also see my drain on the side. Taking a shower tonight to get rid of all of the adhesive gunk, it is bugging me!
I will try to get my final before and after up tomorrow sometime. I mentioned that on Thursday I weighed in at 191 at the surgeon's office- that is my 70lbs loss mark!! yeah! I haven't weighed in since I've been home. Kind of scared, but have to face it sooner or later. At least I know I have some support and where to find it- love you guys!

Ow, looks painful, bet that you can't wait to get your drain out.
ReplyDeleteYou look really good, 70 pounds is amazing!
Hope the drain comes out soon, glad you're feeling better. :)
ReplyDeleteJen, I'm so glad that the surgery went well. My heart really goes out to you, and I've been having trouble posting, or I would have written sooner.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what I would do if I had to have my band out, and the best strategy I can think of is to get on the scale every single day and to keep working out and paying attention to what you eat. Even without the band, that should keep things in check.
Am rooting for you and sending very best wishes.
Oooh the drain doesn't look fun. The scarring however doesn't look too bad hon. Keep us posted, we all care about you!
ReplyDeletei am glad you are feeling better. How long do you have the drain for Jen? I will also have one for a week. Does it get in the way? My doc gave me a lanyard to wear around my neck to hold up the drain. I would be so afraid of ripping it out!
ReplyDeleteYou have loads of support. Tons! XOXO
ReplyDeleteLove ya, Jen! Glad you are feeling better :)
ReplyDeleteI'm with others on the drain thing...looks terribly uncomfortable. You ARE looking thin though so at least there's that!
