Things have been going well for the past few days, I'm feeling better and better each day. I pretty much lazed around on Tuesday(Day 2), but I did take some walks outside with my mom, I got all of my water in and half of my protein. Wednesday (Day 3) I was feeling even better so my mom and I went to play bingo and I won $150!! When we got back I took a rest and then we just took a little walk later and visited. My mom is a bookkeeper and she helped me with my hubs business books that evening, making sure I was doing things correctly and showing me how to file his quarterly taxes online. Day 4, Thursday Hubs and I took my mom to the train station (boo she had to go home) and then went to the tire store to get new tires for my car. I rested again when I got home and in the evening my friend Amber who got a sleeve about a year ago came by with her boyfriend to visit. They were here until almost 10 so I was pretty tired by the time they headed home. This morning I was still feeling really good and decided that I would try to make it through today with out pain meds- Thursday I only took them in the morning and then right before bed. So far today I ran a couple of errands with my hubs including going to the bank and Costco (I did have to tell him to slow it down a bit cruising through Costco). I came home feeling tired but didn't really need a nap and so I just watched a couple of shows on TV. I was able to do the dishes (empty and fill dishwasher) and make myself 1/2 cup of tomato soup. Still not needing pain meds. Just finished my soup and I feel full. I do plan on taking Monday and Tuesday off work because I have a drain and it does not get removed until my Tuesday afternoon appointment- I just don't want to have to deal with it at work and I do have plenty of sick leave available.
Now it seems like all I have left to do is loose this weight! yeah!!! I'm so ready :)
I hope to have some numbers to report on Tuesday. I'm trying to stay away from the scale for this initial week. After Tuesday I will reactivate my wicked daily scale obsession.

Sounds like you are feeling much better than I did at that point. Congrats on doing so well!
