new to me...

as I mentioned in my BOOBs survey, I am a bargain hunter... today on my way home I stopped by my local Goodwill store to treasure hunt... I found a pair of slacks, two shirts I can wear to work, a new t-shirt and a dog toy (the toy was 2.99 and the last one we bought her (the exact same one but brand new) was about 12 bucks, the used one looked brand new, no marks or dirt on it at all!). I spent $24 for a pair of slacks, 3 shirts, and a dog toy.  Success! I snapped a couple of photos of my new to me outfits for work..... sorry about my hair/face I went swimming this morning before my shopping trip :) 

I am getting much more toned and my arms and legs are so much stronger after all of the swimming I've been doing- but the dang scale just isn't going down! I'm all cool though, the shirts were size large and the pants size 12... me happy. :) 


Anyone want to go thrifting in Chicago??

    I have just started swimming laps. I am so out of shape but I had to start somewhere. I cannot believe the way my heart gets up there when I am doing them.

    I love a bargain-- I have to admit, yesterday, I did not worry about money at all and just went and spent. Granted: I did do some shopping in Target and Old Navy, comparative bargain store... but I had limited time and a need for clothes.
    Hence: the lack of regard for prices to some extent.
