blogging in words and pictures (finally some pictures)

I have been super crazy busy lately, hence the lack of blogging. I have been keeping up with reading all blogs and even commenting here and there. 

So maybe the best way to sum up the last couple of weeks is with a few photos I took with my phone....

My sweet husband put up this shelf/cabinet for me in the laundry room so that I could get more organized. I love it! I got rid of an ugly shelf that I had used to store the soaps and other stuff. I also just threw away a bunch of junk that had accumulated in the general area.  

The last couple of days I have been moving and stacking all of this wood. My husband calls me "Edward Freezer-Hands" especially in the winter- hopefully I've stacked up enough wood to keep me and my hands warm all through the winter... there is a little more that isn't stacked yet, but I'm getting there.  It has been confirmed by several reliable sources that stacking wood is equal to strength training.

one of my other summer projects is to build a nice cover for my vintage travel trailer... here it is the 1959   mobile scout....   

and here is the place she will be living, again, my sweet hubs is helping me to build a cover/home for her.

 we do take breaks to stop and smell the flowers on the patio....

and we do take snack breaks as well....

and sometimes after snacks there is poo (thanks donk and sorry Draz!)

 and sometimes there is Amey from Idaho who comes to visit and light up my day with a big ray of sunshine!












...most of the time we just work hard all day either working on projects around the house or training for the upcoming Danskin Triathlon on August 14th....

 so this is how we end our day...

I'm going to do my best to post more pictures and fun soon... 

I'll be in Las Vegas the 5th to the 10th so if anyone is in the area let me know, I'd love, LOVE to meet up....
