I was going to post this on Wednesday, but then blogger was down for a while and I went out of town for a wedding. So here is my post from almost a week ago....better late than never, right?
First the good news, I have cute fonts for my blog titles and on the stuff on the side over there ------------>
If you want something cute you should go to her blog.
Now, for the rest of the post- nothing really new.
So I went to my appointment yesterday afternoon. err- make that the day before yesterday. I started this post and only got one sentence down before I had to rush off and solve someone else's problems for the day.
Nothing new came from the appointment, well I guess the good news is that it looks like the fluid is going through like normal again. My surgeon referred me to the hospital for an abdominal ultrasound because I've been having some strange pains kind of in my band area and the other day my port was sore? It was strange. It isn't a pain that interferes with me in any way other than it is annoying. I've had a couple of bouts of nausea after eating too, so the surgeon now wants to rule out any gall bladder problems (I had an abdominal ultrasound almost 1 year ago, came back clear). He also said that Dr. L was very concerned that I might have band erosion- really? he didn't seem that concerned about erosion to me when I met with him on May 2nd. So my appointment was about 2 seconds long because my surgeon was rushing off to an emergency surgery that he just got called for. I didn't get to talk to him much and left the office still frustrated, confused and trying my best not to cry (more). I have my ultrasound on Monday, and then the upper GI on Friday the 20th. I haven't been posting much because I've been in such a funk.
My weight this morning was 193. I've been bouncing a lot the last few weeks. My recent lowest was 192. I'd really like to get to 191 which would be a total loss of 70 lbs as soon as possible. I haven't been exercising either though. On Tuesday I came home and went straight to my room and laid in bed for about an hour and a half before doing any chores, or even changing out of my work clothes. Pretty much just felt like poop and really tired of being stressed out.
I did end up working until 7 pm on Thursday- getting mostly caught up at work felt good, but it was a long day!
I went to a wedding on Friday evening, it was wonderful! I really enjoyed it. I stayed at my mom's house on Friday night and came home yesterday. As soon as I got home I mowed the lawn (it takes about 2 hours) because it was supposed to start raining again any second. I managed to get everything mowed and only about 10 drops of rain on me! I also vaccumed and did some dishes, then Dave came home and took me out to dinner. I went to be at about 10 because he invited me to come with him to the car swap meet today to help in his booth (he had a bunch of parts and stuff for sale). I agreed to spend the day with him at the swap meet, but it was pouring down rain this morning so he just loaded up the things he didn't sell on Saturday and we headed home.
Today I am resting and we are going to watch a movie (he just got back from some errands) and take a break. I also feel like I am getting sick, I had Dave get me some over the counter meds while he was out and about, sore throat is setting in and I am just completely exhausted.
I will try to post tomorrow afternoon if I find out more after the ultrasound.
