So I weighed in today (my offical weigh in day) at 214. That means according to the scale I have lost a total of 1 lb since January 1. WTF! I guess I have the maintenance phase down to a tee.... not time for that yet though. So, here is what I have to do to get back to the losses of the first 5 months. I have to be more dilligent and I have to want it more. I have gotten lazy. I haven't been planning, I've been allowing too many high calorie, non filling foods. I'm going to go back to my first post after meeting with Melanie and review my band rules. I am going to diary my food intake (including calories), and continue exercising. I have a fill scheduled for tomorrow. I don't want to be a band patient who has only lost 50lbs at 1 year out (that isn't bad, losing 50lbs is great, but I want to do MORE than the average person, I'm just kinda competetive like that). I have 4.5 months until my 1 year surgery aniversary. I am confident that I can be down 100lbs by my 1 year date. I just have to focus! I will be back later today with my food/exercise report.

BTW, my word for this year is "FULLY", I think I need to focus on fully taking advantage of this tool I was lucky enough to be gifted with. I'm not going to be satisfied with doing anything half-ass, which is what I am doing now. I have ten minutes to go throw some stuff away that is in the fridge (pizza, pudding cups, pasta leftovers, etc). No time like the present to regroup and move forward!

RAWR! I am pumped up and ready to face my food demons- bring it!!

At least you have identified a way to get back on track! That is a good thing! There is hope :)
ReplyDeleteYou can do it!
ReplyDeleteWay to refocus to get back on track. Hopefully the scale will be moving again in the right direction soon.
ReplyDeleteYes I love the way you are not wallowing and are re-focusing. We are behind you all the way
