This is when he was repairing the hernia at the base of my esophogus- very important because it keeps my band or any part of my stomach from being able to go up and into my esophogus (called a band slip)- that would be bad. Very bad.
Here are the pictures of my band being placed the top right one is my band in place. If you were looking straight at me and I was all cut open that is pretty much what my band would look like.
