After missing two weeks of work, I was hoping to get a full five days in this week before our winter break starts, mother nature decided it would be great to screw me out of a work day and snowed- so today school for the kids and work for me was cancelled! I think this is the first time in my entire life that I prayed for it NOT to snow.... oh well. it will all be there when I get back from break.
Dave and I are planning on seeing his mom and then my family too for Christmas this year. We are going to be heading down to Oregon tomorrow, and we will be gone for at least 5 days, yay! I'm glad we are able to do it. I've been wanting to spend Christmas with my family the past two years but it just hasn't been working out. We are giving ourselves a new bed this year! I am so freaking excited :) We will probably wait until after the Christmas rush to go out and shop for it though, we both hate the big crowds.
I did make my new lowest weight-yeah! (175.4) I've lost 5 pounds in the last month, but considering my eating habits have been totally crap with all of the stuff I've been dealing with and not being home for most of it, I'll take it!! Yesterday I went to the thrift store and found a really cute pair of Joe's Jeans, size 10 (30 waist) and I actually squeezed into them today! wow, I am getting there :) I have a theory that if I wear pants that are snug in the waist I eat better because I want my pants to fit better- I really think it works (for me)!
My plan is to get back on track with my exercise too, my work out buddy is ready to get back on track too- we work at the same school and when September hit we both fizzled out on our exercise and workout plans pretty quickly. Last January was the start of us being workout buddies and it went really well, so as cliché as it is, we will be doing the "work out more" new year resolution.
I have a few pictures to share, but unfortunately I'm not in any of them! I'll try to get some around the holidays that I can post- even if I have to do the 'ol selfie, I'll get something for you! In the meantime, enjoy a glimpse into my world! I wish you all happiness and joy and a very very merry Christmas filled with love :)
Congrats on the weight! I can only imagine the stress with the Gs. Good job though! Glad they are happy! Love the glimpses of life out of New Jersey!
