Vegas and weight loss...

Just got home from a fun trip to Vegas with my hubby. He attended the SEMA show (car/guy stuff, he does automotive restorations on classic cars) and I got to hang out with my fun cousin during the day while the guys perused all of the stuff at the show. In the evening we all did some gambling, eating,  walking and fun Vegas stuff. I wish I would have thought to try to meet up with some fellow bloggers in Vegas though- doh! Guess there is always next time.

The big news is that I actually broke into the 170-somethings while in Vegas! Crazy, but true, I lost weight on vacation. I was pretty sure I was going to come home to a gain (I didn't really watch what I was eating very carefully and indulged more than once in some treats, along with the booze- well I just thought it was going to take a little work to get it off and get moving down again. Wrong! I weighed in at 179.6 this morning! Yaaaaay!!!! love my sleeve! I'm now only 3 pounds away from my lowest adult weight (post high school). Amazing. I'm so excited 176 will be just around the corner and then onward and downward from there...

I'll leave you with a few photos... I actually dug up a prior comparison shot I did with my band (left side is 251 right side is 215) the picture of me in Vegas is at 179. Can't really say enough about how happy I am with my progress with the sleeve so far!

  8. Hi Jen! I've been away from the blogs for a while...just needed some time "alone" to work on myself. I'm so glad the sleeve is working for you (I know I love mine)! I'll try to do better about keeping in touch.

    Cheers!
