getting better....

Blogging in bullets seems to be what all the cool kids are doing these days so I think I might try it...

  • I am finally just getting better! I only made it to the gym one time this last week because I just didn't have the energy to do it! I barely had enough strength to get out of be each day for work, so add to that the fact that not one but TWO days this week I had to go in early (about an hour both times) and I got buried under little tasks that requried my attention so I also stayed late 4 out of 5 days and well, yeah. not much gym happening for me! I am okay with it. I'm not totally loving the gym right now, so whatev.
  • I am losing! not gonna say much about that, I have seen this number before, but I am getting veeeeery close to the 180's. I'm not going to post much about my loss until I get well into the 180's because waaaay back in October I did see 186 for a second. Gotta get back to that lowest low before I start my serious celebration. I have seriously cut carbs, which is helping me go down on the scale. yay!
  • I had the most fabulous trip over spring break to see Amey in Idaho and I had a great traveling companion- Ms. M! Contrary to previous posts my Ms. M I did not drink ALL of that alcohol. The wine yes! But the other yummy stuff- I did let them have a taste... :) Jackson Hole was beautiful and fun! Amey is definitely the hostess with the mostess in my book- can't wait to visit again!   In the picture I was getting a little frisky with Amey- that is why she has such a big smile on her face... tee hee  
  • work is busy, life is busy, but I have been keeping up with blogs- I am getting really nervous about doing the triathlon this summer- gotta get some pool time in so I don't drown trying to swim a half mile in open water- I feel like I can do it just fine because I am a really strong swimmer with no fear of swimming in open water (lake, ocean, river) but man the first time I pedaled 12 miles on the spin bike I thought my legs were going to fall off! grrr.speaking of spin class, I missed class this morning. oops! I will definitely be going next saturday. I am actually now enjoying the bike more and more and dreading the treadmill more and more. I'm upping my bike miles to 12  (hopefully) on my next workout and then 2-3 on the treadmill. ick. gotta get it to stop raining so I can get back out side to run... I hate the boring treadmill. I also need to treat myself to a new ipod. mine is done. worthless. gone. over it. grrr
  • Spring Challenge has helped me get back on track losing, not as much as I had hoped for, but hey if the number is going down (not up) I'm happy- Thanks a bunch to Niki for hosting :)
  • I have more to say, but my head is so full of thoughts I can't sort them out right now... I promise it won't be 11 days before you hear from me again... I will blog!
