I'm still here, not blogging as much as I have wanted to but reading everyone's blogs and trying to comment more too...
I've got okay restriction right now and I've managed to lose 3lbs in the last week and a half or so. I am excited, but not getting too excited (remember I have been bouncing up and down a few pounds for months). The difference this time is that I had been gaining for a whole month, now I am losing again. My lowest low was 187 (saw it for a second, really just a second for one day on October 23) this morning I was 197- I'm pretty sure for a few days towards the end of December I was over 200 again... just glad to be moving in the right direction again. I have a challenge going with my friend Debbie who is in the support group that I attend. We are doing a "First to lose 40" contest. That will put both of us super close (if not at) goal. I am waiting to get back down to 195 before I start counting my pounds lost. Of course I also have some fitness challenges coming up- March 13 5k, August a sprint Triathalon. I also am going to do some other local 5ks. I think Julie and I will do one in April or May up her way...
I stayed home from work today, I feel a little selfish since we had a snow day this week and we have a holiday on Monday but I've been fighting migraines all week and I woke up with a headache this morning- past experience tells me that it will not be getting any better by spending the day at work so I just wimped out and called in this morning. I've been relaxing all morning and I do feel a little better but my headache is still hanging around. I think I need to eat breakfast, I had a glass of milk this morning so far and food is sounding good right now.
I'm just going to keep plugging away, I have enjoyed keeping up on blogs and I do get inspired by everyone's progress so keep posting for me (I was only kidding when I said stop so I can catch up)
