This is a 1959 mobile scout travel trailer. A fun project! I'll post more pictures of the inside soon. It is in really good shape and I practically stole it for $350 bucks!!! I'm going to do some work on the interior and try to get the exterior back to original condition. We are going to set it up under a cover on our property as a guest cabin... :o) who's gonna come visit first???
Me me me!! I wanna come stay in the cabin :) I love old campers...reminds me of being a kid, and rain on the roof of a camper is one of my favorite sounds. Can't wait for progress pics!

That is so cool! I have this fantasy of buying an RV and living in it for a year or so as we travel across the country. I'm a folksinger nomad at heart. :)

Just yesterday I saw some pictures on facebook of some friends who took "vintage" pictures in front of an RV like this. They were so neat. Even the hue from the camera screamed vintage!
