weigh in, massage, poop, lawn mowing

so yeah, the blog title pretty much sums up my day. First I slept in until 8am. That is a full hour longer than I usuallly get on the weekend, Dave got up and let the dogs out so I could sleep in. Awesome! I got up and weighed in at 208... a new low! YES!!! Yesterday my my most awesome friend Shana called me to tell me she had scheduled me for an hour long massage at 10am Sat. (this morning). It was an early birthday gift (my bday is March 15th). Well, my massage was pretty much awesome. After my massage I went and visited with Shana for a bit at her farm and we went out and worked in her garden, well Shana mostly worked and I mostly chit-chatted with her while she was working. I am going to help her get a drip irrigation system set up in the garden though. After hanging out with Shana I headed home with a big goal of poop scooping my pasture (my mini donkey always poops in the same few places in his little pasture, so it is easy for me to keep it clean). I got the poop scooped and taken to the place that will take it to mix with topsoil. On my way back home I made a quick stop at the grocery store and then at the gas station to get gas for the lawnmower. When I finally got home I jumped on the mower and was hoping to get our yard mowed before dark. Yeah, it pretty much got dark about half way through my mowing job. Luckily we have a pretty nice mower and it has bright headlights. Yes I am the crazy neighbor who was mowing after dark. I'm thinking I'm going to have to go out first thing tomorrow to touch up some missed spots, but I'm pretty sure I got most of the yard pretty darn good. Can't believe I am already having to mow the yard! Today was gorgeous weather and I really enjoyed being outside. Tomorrow Dave and I are going to the small home and garden show in town, I'll probably do some cleaning around the house and definitely some laundry. I'm also considering a run tomorrow. I'm just starting week 6 of couch to 5k. On friday I jogged for the entire 25 minutes of the workout plus about 5 more. With my 5 minute warm up walk and 5 minute cool down walk I did about 2.5 miles. I felt really good so I'm thinking the St. Paddy's Day dash next Sunday will go fine. oh, and I'll post the vlog that I did first thing Friday morning that I never found time to post on Friday.   1. Yeh for March 15th (Ides of March) babies. Me too. Can't believe all the work you did yesterday. Good luck on the running. You actually have a donkey? Cool. Need picture posted of that!

  2. Ha! We have had two neighbors (two different places) that always mowed their lawns in the dark...I guess it's cooler then LOL.

    OK, you've officially given me Spring Fever and there's still more than a foot of snow on the ground here, but it's slowly melting.

  3. Sounds like a productive day. The weather has gotten nicer here too (PA), but there is still a lot of snow around. I'm so ready for Spring and then, even better, Summer!

  4. Lawn mowing can be real fun especially if you have one of those motor ones. You don’t have to out much effort into it and you can finish mowing your lawn in a very short period of time.
